Smoldering blonde international star, briefly in vogue in the 1960s, whose big break came with the role of Honey in the first James Bond movie, "Dr. No" (1962). By the early 70s, though, Andress was relegated to modest European-made films, mostly shot in Italy and several erotic in genre, which received relatively little international distribution. She did, though, appear in a tiny role as one of the glamorously posed goddesses in "Clash of the Titans" (1981), an adventure saga based on Greek myths starring Harry Hamlin, with whom Andress had a son. From 1957 to 1966, she was married to actor-director John Derek who directed her in his "Once Before I Die" (1965).
