Part 1
Part 2
Born in Metairie, LA and raised in Charleston, SC, southern girl Ashley McCall Scott began her career as a model. With her beautiful blonde All-American looks, she segued smoothly into acting, getting parts on high profile series like “Birds of Prey” (WB, 2002-03) and “Dark Angel” (Fox, 2000-02), before landing her breakout role as Emily Sullivan on the post-nuclear holocaust drama, “Jericho” (CBS, 2006- ).
Born on July 13, 1977, Scott was a child model and became so enchanted with that career choice, that by her high school years, she moved to New York City to try her hand at high fashion modeling. As an international model, she walked the catwalk in fashion shows in Milan and Paris, before changing career lanes, focusing instead on acting as a career. At her first audition, she worked opposite Al Pacino for a part in the feature film, “Simone” (2002) but did not get the gig. After landing the role of Gigolo Jane in Steven Spielberg’s “A.I.: Artificial Intelligence” (2001), she scored the role of Asha Barlow on the edgy sci-fi fantasy series, “Dark Angel.” The writing team was enamored enough by Scott that they fashioned the character to fit her real-life personality, quickly moving her from guest star to regular character status.
