Dostana (Hindi: दोस्ताना, translation: Friendship) is a forthcoming Bollywood film starring Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra. It is directed by Karan Johar's assistant, Tarun Mansukhani. The film began filming in Miami, Florida in March 2008, and is the first Bollywood film to be set entirely in Miami. It is also the first ever Bollywood film to have an exclusive focus on a gay relationship between its two protagonists. Dharma Productions's Dostana is scheduled for release on November 14, 2008.

Sarah Silverman returned to Jimmy Kimmel for the first time since the long-time couple split. The comedienne had a few question for her ex, or her current or whatever is going on with Sarah Silverman Jimmy Kimmel. Silverman -- who said she didn't want to use their "whatever-relationship (BS)" to promote her show -- asked: "When we were split, did you kiss anyone else?"

The Hills star Lauren Conrad made another appearance on David Letterman’s Show last night and Dave was all about getting the gossip.
When Lauren mentioned that the show was in season four, he asked where the time went and said, “When you started you were just a kid, and now - still a kid.”
When asked about the on-air catfights, Lauren said that throughout the years, there had always been problems between everyone in the cast. In trying to get to the root of the issues, Dave quipped, “That raises the question…who is…maybe you’re the problem, ya think?”
Lauren squirmed in her seat a little on that one. Our favorite part of the interview was seeing Dave clearly taking sides in the Lauren vs Heidi Montag wars. He actually said that he thought Heidi’s man, Spencer Pratt, was a “weasel.”

The World Unseen is 2007 film written and directed by Shamim Sarif, based upon a novel she had written. The film is set in Cape Town, South Africa during apartheid. The films stars Lisa Ray and Sheetal Sheth as two Indian South African women that fall in love in a racist, sexist, and homophobic society. It also stars Parvin Dabas.

Soul Men is an upcoming American musical-dramedy film directed by Malcolm D. Lee. It stars Samuel L. Jackson, Bernie Mac, Sean Hayes, Jennifer Coolidge and Isaac Hayes, who appears as himself. It is currently in post-production and set to be released on November 7, 2008. The movie has been rated R by the MPAA for pervasive language and sexual content, including nudity.

Repo! The Genetic Opera is a rock opera film directed by Darren Lynn Bousman. Originally planned for an April 25 release date, it has since been reported that it will open with a limited release in 4 cities (Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City, and Las Vegas) on November 7, 2008 with a DVD release to follow in January 2009. A 22-track soundtrack was released online on September 30, 2008, and another will be released in CD-format to coincide with the release of the DVD. The film is based on a play written and composed by Darren Smith and Terrance Zdunich. It received an R rating by the MPAA for strong bloody violence and gore, language, some drug and sexual content.

Pray the Devil Back to Hell is the gripping account of a group of brave women who demanded peace for Liberia, a nation torn to shreds by a decades-long civil war. The women’s historic achievement finds its voice in a narrative that intersperses interviews, archival images, and scenes of present-day Liberia together to recount the memories of a few of the women who were there.

The film stars the voices of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Jada Pinkett Smith, David Schwimmer, Sacha Baron Cohen, Bernie Mac, Cedric the Entertainer, and Andy Richter. Also guest voicing includes Alec Baldwin, Will.i.am, Bernie Mac, Sherri Shepherd, and Patton Oswalt. Tiny Lister is also rumored to appear. The previous title was "Madagascar: The Crate Escape", which was featured on a trailer with Ben Stiller. The film is rated PG for some mild crude humor. It is the final film to star Bernie Mac, to whom it is dedicated because of his untimely death before the it could be completed.

JCVD (also released as Van Dammage in the USA) is a French meta-action film directed by Mabrouk El Mechri starring Jean-Claude Van Damme as the title role. Van Damme plays himself, a down-and-out action star whose family and career are crumbling around him, as he’s caught in a bank heist in his hometown of Brussels, Belgium. JCVD is Jean-Claude Van Damme’s filmed redemption; a weary hero’s only shot to get back what he lost with fame.

House is a 2008 film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Frank E. Peretti and Ted Dekker. The film is currently in post-production. Stranded: I've Come from a Plane that Crashed in the Mountains tells the infamous story of a rugby team from Uruguay who boarded plane that would never reach its destination. The film features exclusive interviews with the survivors who recount their struggle to survive after the plane crashed in the Andes Mountains and were forced to consume the human flesh of the deceased. Stranded looks beyond the lurid details of cannibalism to tell a haunting tale of survival. Stranded won the Grand Jury Prize for Documentary at the Sundance Film Festival in 2008. It will be released theatrically in the fall of 2008.

Saw V is the upcoming fifth installment in the Saw film series. The film is set to be released on October 24, 2008. Unlike the previous three installments, Saw V will not be directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, but instead by David Hackl, who was the production designer of Saw II, Saw III and Saw IV, as well as a second-unit director for Saw III and Saw IV.

Pride and Glory is an upcoming 2008 American crime drama film directed by Gavin O'Connor and starring Edward Norton and Colin Farrell. Pride and Glory was originally slated for released on March 14, 2008, but this date was scrapped by New Line Cinema, and the film is now scheduled to be released on October 24, 2008.
